I cannot be the only mom who goes for style and “chicness” when shopping for baby and kids’ products. I may be slightly ridiculous, but still, I know I’m not the only one! Since I have a little girl, I have always wanted everything to be as pink and girly as possible. If we have a boy someday, well we’ll be buying a lot of new baby stuff I suppose. So with that being said, when I decided I needed a jogger, my mission was to find one that wasn’t $200 or more, but was cute, girly and good quality. I searched in a few different places, and finally found the InStep Safari Swivel Wheel Jogger in the color wine on Amazon.
I loved the burgundy [...]
The Baby Trend Manta Snap Gear Jogger is my dream stroller. This is the stroller that we purchased immediately after Colton was born. We had a jogging stroller later down the line with Giuliana (we had started out with a car seat/stroller combo at first) and it’s true what they say - Once you push a jogging stroller, you will never go back to a normal one! I knew immediately when we got pregnant with Colton that we needed to have a jogger from the start! After some searching I came across this gem. One of my favorite features is the adaptability. The seat can be in forward facing, parent facing, or horizontally balanced position as a bassinet. Yes, you read that correctly! It’s [...]
With my first baby, I did TONS of research as I slaved over our registry. I wanted to make sure that we were investing in the best possible products that would be great for mommy, daddy, and baby. When it came to strollers and carseats, I was SUPER overwhelmed by the sheer amount of products available, but also extremely determined to make sure I made the right choice for our family.
We ended up with a BOB Revolution jogger (bought secondhand) and a BOB Motion (bought brand new) for our “regular” stroller. While we loved the newer Motion because the BOB Britax B Safe carseat automatically plugged right in without the purchase of adaptor, we found ourselves primarily using the [...]
As a first time mom, my search for the perfect stroller was not the most conventional. I was fortunate enough to have friends willing to give me their hand-me downs, which included a travel system stroller. I was so relived to be able to scratch an item off my, what seemed to be never ending, to-do list before baby. It was a huge weight lifted off my shoulders. Our pre-baby plan included making sure everything was washed 3 weeks prior to E’s due date. As I was taking the car seat cover off to be washed, disaster struck. The car seat had JUST expired a couple of months prior. The baby could be here at any moment and we officially did not have a car seat or a stroller. *cue [...]
There are many reasons why I love my BOB Revolution SE The easy two-step folding means I don’t have to struggle to close it quickly. When I need to get it into the car quickly, or ask non-parents to open it, the simple instructions “unclick the red part and whip it open” usually leave them all amazed.
One-hand maneuverability allows me to hold packages, make phone calls or hold my son’s hand while pushing the baby along. The swivel front tires means the stroller will stay in a straight line with the gentlest of pressure to keep it moving along.
The adjustable suspension system is designed to change with height and weight, and is great for [...]
What’s the one baby purchase that both my husband and I rave about? Our infant bucket seat: the Chicco KeyFit 30. After our first was born, we became those parents who told anyone in the market for baby gear who would listen about our love for this seat. Now, this behavior is not unusual for a mama, especially one obsessed with finding the best infant gear (me). But my husband? Now that’s something to write about! When it came time to move our eldest into a convertible seat, we both missed the ease of the bucket seat. (Side note: I think people who claim that their convertible seat is so amazing and so easy must not have used the Chicco. They just don’t know how [...]
